Fluffy is my smart little boy, little only in size, mind you, not his personality or his intelligence. He is silent but violent if he’s upset with you. Very passive- aggressive. Small dogs are also very instinctive. Fluffy, my Maltipoo, came to me through a friend who did not want to keep him and has been with me for about three years. He is almost nine years old now. I celebrate his birthday with mine, November 17. He is happiest when there is food – chicken and fish are his favourite. I bake for him, make him waffles, but no sweets at all. He loves fruit – apple, papaya, pear, melon, coconut, berries – and cheese, milk, butter, which he gets a dab of.

After food, he loves to go out for walks, and bark at bigger dogs. It gives him an ego boost. Fluffy does not like drives, so I don’t take him out with me much. He is comfortable at home when I’m travelling, and the staff take good care of him. As long as he gets his dose of sunrays on the balcony, Fluffy is happy.
